I meditate two to three times a day and I recommend that you take a course in meditation or buy the home study course by Jose Silva. It will help you get centered and find peace within.

Dear Carmalee,

My heart goes out to you, my dear. I can feel your pain. I know exactly what it feels like to be in your state.

The reason you feel this way is because of your BELIEFS. For a large part of my life, I was a prisoner of my beliefs. I thought that was how I SHOULD feel. I thought I didn't deserve to be happy.

But when I worked on myself and changed those beliefs - which is not as easy as it sounds - I realised that I had a CHOICE.

I realised that I could feel any way I CHOSE to feel, and interpret my life the way I CHOSE to interpret it.

Understanding that simple fact will change your life.

Here are some of the tools that helped me make those changes:

1. I read "Unlimited Power" by Anthony Robbins, and did the exercises and applied the techniques to my daily life.

2. I read Richard Carlson's book "Shortcut Through Therapy." It changed my life.

3. I meditate two to three times a day and I recommend that you take a course in meditation or buy the home study course by Jose Silva. It will help you get centered and find peace within.

Good luck, my dear. I know you will find happiness, Carmalee, because YOU DESERVE IT!

I am so glad, I found this site. I am one of those pessimist you talk about. I am the person who feels everyone is out to get her. I can totally justify those feels.

I don't like to feel like this! I truly don't it hurt so badly to feel like this, and it hurts my family around me.

I try to be happy and then I get in a slump. I just recently started taking an antidepressant which has aided me in self communication control. I think more about what I am going to say. I am one who will point out the wrong done to me. Now I feel the wrong only within.

I want to be rid of these feelings.

My childhood, teen years and early twenties, life was a challenge!! I still carry baggage and I am slowly letting it go, but it will always hurt.

I am truly blessed, I have all a women needs and then some. A beautiful family husband, two daughters a beautiful home, and a great job.

I need to be happy, I want to be happy, I want to make my family happy!!

Can thoughts. This is really hard for me. It took me several months before I would go to the doctor and tell him my thoughts, then when I got the anti depressant I had to talk myself into taking it. Its not strong, very low dose, but I don't even take tylenol...

If you hav e any thoughts that would be appreciated.

I am a full time employee, I go to school online when my children go to sleep. I have no time to go to a counselor and talk it out. I just need a way to help myself!!!
