Ever since I began redefining my life experiences in a more empowering way, I created a whole new vocabulary for myself.
I decided that I have no problems! Only challenges and opportunities for growth.
So now, instead of letting life’s little challenges upset my equilibrium, I look forward to them as opportunities for improving myself and the chance to reach a new level of personal growth.
When I encounter a person who, earlier, would have irritated me or got me mad, I can now ask myself, “What can I learn from this person? What have they been sent to teach me?”
A challenging situation now becomes an opportunity to grow and stretch myself.
I’m not perfect at this. I have a long way to go before I can achieve equanimity in all situations.
But, it’s amazing how eliminating a single word from my vocabulary can make a world of difference.
