However, few of those who spend their whole lives thinking they are free of the disease that drives heroin, cocaine, pot and alcohol addicts will thank you for these insights. They would much prefer to waltz along thinking that their unnatural obsession with power, prestige, money, possessions, sport and relationships is somehow normal.

Have a heart, Priya - leave them to their illusions. Nobody who thinks they're masters of their lives would love you for exposing them to the fact that they're as enslaved to their diseased instincts as the junkie in the gutter....</description>
