wow! This story really justifies the popular saying that "Beauty lies within urself"

Its all about one's perception, attitude towards life

Perfect!!!!
Everything and everyone is also perfect!, perfect just as they are. We are each the student and the master as we walk our journey - to some we teach and from some we learn.

Wow -- what a GREAT story. Thank you for that! I have been working on this as well -- seeing the good in everyone. Wayne Dyer said he tries to see every person for what gift he is receiving from them by talking with them -- I am trying to do the same and teach my children the same. Everyone is different and has different strengths -- this is what makes the world so interesting. I look forward to the people that talk to me while on errands now instead of worrying about time and where I have to go to next. It\'s always worth it.

I agree with Ravi. I sense this very meaningful story encourages us to turn inward.

I also recall reading another story about a monk who had an obnoxious protege. His senior peers couldn't understand why this wise monk didn't distance himself from the disruptive junior monk. When asked why he chose to remain with the student, the senior monk explained the younger monk represented a great gift. When his peers looked t him dazed and confused, he explained.

"Since that particular young student entered my life, I've learned more about patience, understanding, ego, love and forgiveness than I ever had before."

From that moment on, other monks gained deeper insight into a blessing.

Such a simple, lovely story to reveal the truth. Yes, that's how we are. I am. Looking only at others faults. Not realising for a moment that the Holy One is inside each of us. Fabulous. Just the same way we could discover such wonderful sites and things too, on the Net. If we choose, that is!
